Academic work
As a researcher on energy economics and power systems, I published in different journals, conferences and technical reports. My interest are mostly on regulation and modelling of power markets, mostly for distributed resources and on TSO-DSO coordination.I'm also an author in 22 reports delivered to the European Commission from five major Horizon projects (leading author in 8 of these reports).Most of my work can be found on my Google Scholar, Research Gate and ORCID profiles, while the complete list of publications from my Ph.D. years can be found on my Comillas University profile:
Open Source Bilevel Model on TSO-DSO CoordinationAs part of my Ph.D. I developed a bilevel optimisation model to study strategic interflow price setting and possible regulatory mechanims. The model was developed in GAMS language and is available on my GitHub, along with the datasets used:
Private sector
I also worked for 5 years in the Brazilian power sector and provided consultancy in Madrid in the past years. My work has revolved around finance and regulation. Feel free to know more and contact me on LinkedIn:
Music
I'm by no means a talented musician, but still, this is an important part of my life. My interests go from classical and instrumental music to good old rock n' roll. On my YouTube channel is where I post most of my musical attempts:

Electronics and technology
My interests in electronics and technology include analog hardware (electric guitar-oriented), microcontrollers (Arduino and ESP32), experimental computing (big Raspberry Pi fanboy here ;) and software development (web and data-oriented development, self-hosting servers, home automation and networks). Currently digging deep on artificial intelligence as well :)Guitar pedals "by Lind", soon to hit the market:
Sports
Lousy half marathoner, that's how I'd describe me. As with music, I'm not good at it, but I like it :) The import part is not winning, but to have fun along the way. I do my best to accomplish that...
Also into SCUBA diving. Still a beginner (PADI OW), but fascineted by the marine life and physics involved in the activity.
